This is a project by Michael Schiess, curator, Neptune Beach Amusement Museum and Lucky JuJu Pinball Arcade, created as a lesson for a interactive kinetic art class. It’s naked pinball. It’s modeled after a Gottlieb “Surf Champ” as that machine had an example of every kind of pinball switch used. After carefully measuring and plotting out the plans of the original, they went about rebuilding it with 1/2″ clear plastic instead of the usual decorative casing. It is fully functional. I think it might be kind of hard to follow the ball though.
