Phonak has just launched a new in ear RF receiver. It is super high tech. It’ll pick up multiple frequences. It can pick up transmissions from mobile phones, walkie-talkies and specialized transmitters, with a range of 250m. A single battery life should be able to last 13 hours. Supposedly the piece is supposed to completely hidden when in use, and should not be able to be seen . Unfortunately that has not been proven yet. Everyone is hoping that this will be the case though. Release and price information is not available yet, but it sure seems like a clever little gadget.
