Virtual Reality Goggles

Seems that lately motion sensing has become the new “new” technology. First the Wii with its motion sensing remote and nunchuk, then the PS3 with it’s tilting controller, and now these. The Vuzik Virtual Reality Goggles not only give you a heads up display (HUD) right in front of your eyes, but can sense motion. In the video in the article, they use it to look around a cockpit in Microsoft Flight Simulator, but this is as simple as mapping the movements of your head to the movements of a joystick. Therefore, any application that can recognize a joystick can recognize this peripheral, enabling you to use the VR920 goggles with nearly any game on the market today. Pretty cool.
