A group called C-Level (now disbanded) have modified a video game into a modded performance art fighting system that allows the player to feel pain emanating from the actual battle. Players are wired to electric bands that mimics the pain from the video game. The group travels around to venues and straps on willing participants. I really think this is sadistically cool and blurs the line between the reality and the virtual reality of video games.
