Oh My Gosh!

Throughout the years, technology in the medical field has grown significantly; machines helping the doctors be more precise, and that is all I can think of (I am sure there is more). Lately, Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand has been working on a new stent that will dissolve into a lactic acid (which is a substance already produced in the body after exercise)over the course of two to three years. Stents are used to hold open narrow arteries. These stents have many possible advantages, such as making it easier to perform more procedures on the same area, as well as form shape more precisely to the size of the artery. There are more. Genius I say. Genius. Dissolving items used for surgeries that can be put in the body? If we can do this, we are capable of doing much more with this kind of technology. Cancer, watch your back, buddy.
