According to Craig Venter the scientist who commercialized the efforts of the human genome has claimed to have created a synthetic chromos0ne.Organisms can indeed be made to help with medical treatments, environment protection, energy production and, unfortunately, biological weapons. the chromosome is made of 381 genes and was able to live successfully after a fifth of its DNA was removed. this is very spectacular but i feel that as long as we don’t try to play God we should be fine. with this we can have the ability to cure many diseases. but then again people would find a way to use this for EVIL
