Uberorgan

Created by Tim Hawkinson in 2001, the Uberogan was created to fill 15,000 Sq. foot gallery at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. On top of the piece having to be voluminous, there was also a need for the piece to use audio. The piece, using photo resistors and relays, read a roll of mylar with black spots that switched on and off air valves that blew into the plastic tubing creating music. The site itself contains addition images of the piece along with song samples from the piece.
