A bit too extreme, a new legislation proposes the spying of French Web surfers in order to terminate the exchange of copyrighted material. Those terminated will also face some legal repercussions; those who wish to debate their termination will have to go through a long drawn out bureaucratic process. Stating the obvious violation of privacy, opponents also state that this might also disrupt business from conducting their affairs online. This law will be voted on the coming year.
