Apple Air is Apples’ latest and greatest innovation with its light weight and sleek look. However it seems as though in apples’ attempt to make a laptop more convenient user friendly they made a device that is more susceptible to problems. For example the laptop does not come equip with a disk drive. It also had a sealed hard drive similar to an iPod, making it impossible to fix if something went wrong. The compromise to not having a disk drive is having software, movies and music loaded on externally. This takes up precious hard drive space and should your hard drive crash or short circuit there is nothing you can do about it. Essentially making your computer a 1700 paper weight.
