“Timeless Universe” is the title of Paul Friedlander’s latest work. His pieces are installations of kinetic light sculpture. The flowing images are ephemeral in that they are continuously changing and never repeat.
The concept is based on cosmology, physics and contemplative thought.
Mixed throughout the sculptures are mathmatical equations and ancient text.
He uses video projectors and computers for relaying real time animation.
This is soooooooo beautiful!
I also love what he’s drawing on to create the work. One must feel a sense of euphoria when intermingling with the installation.
His next work, “Souls and Machines” will be at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, from June to October this year. Makes me want to go to Spain!
