For those of us who love the concept of e-books but hate the concept of reading for extended periods of time on a computer, there might be an answer. Student Nedzad Mujcinovic has created an e-ink screen with a touch screen on top of it. The system works works somewhat like a an I-Phone: slide your finger to the right and the “page” turns. To top off it all off, the design has a leather bound cover to get a real book feel. The device trumps the alternative, called Kindle, as the Amazon designed device was wildly unsuccessful. The design is still just a concept but hopefully we’ll be seeing them on the street someday.
