Kanye West wore a wearable led outfit to the Grammys. Kanye has a great influence in new styles and trends as displayed by the success of those funny sunglasses that no one had heard of till after he wore them. The ones with no glass but strips of non-translucent plastic instead. (Well I had seen them in New York before but I’m a trendsetter and hotstepper.) So this leads me to believe that Kanye wearing this shirt will bring wearables to the general public and we will be seeing them in fancy and trendy clothing lines soon. Then when bootleggers catch on they will be able to produce cheap knock offs because leds are so cheap. This will make wearables avaliable to anyone. But it hasn’t made as big of a splash as I thought it would. I can’t even find any good articles online about it. But thats okay cause I’ll get a chance to experiment with wearables before hipsters get their hands on them.
