Joseph Delappe’s piece “First TV Memory” includes an explanation in the video, but it is a project emulating his first memory of watching tv. He tried to turn on the tv to watch Captain Kangaroo but instead found footage of JFK’s body being carried on a train. For this piece he uses a projector connected to a small black and white camera suspended inside a turning wheel with train tracks, simulating the footage he remembers live.
