Salmon sperm used to intensify LEDs

Yes. In possibily the grossest and biggest “TMI” post to ever be seen on this blog, University of Cincinnati Proffessor Andrew Steckl has discovered something…horrible. Apparently the DNA inside the sperm cells of salmon can be used to enhance LED lights. These so called BIOLEDs are being used by the Air Force. Upon looking at the photo provided, it looks like the concept really works…I’d like to apologize for finding this.
