Clocky is another alarm clock that forces its user to get out of bed. The alarm goes off once in its place, but if you hit “snooze,” the second time the alarm sounds, Clocky wheels away and hides. All the while, he keeps up his stereotypical android sounds, or alarm. Even the laziest sleepers will be forced out of bed to chase the little guy to shut him off. And by that time, Clocky’s owner is out of bed and hopefully ready to face the day.

Creator Gauri Nanda first developed a prototype of Clocky as a class project while she was a graduate student at MIT. She also designs laptop cases and covers which are for sale, along with Clocky, at nandahome.com.
