Cristobal Mendoza‘s art work is mostly based on and related towards videos. In this particular piece of work the art can only be seen when the viewer is in front of installation cameras. This triggers the particles on the frame (mirror) to show an image of the viewer.
“Ghost Mirror“, is a unique new abstract way of seeing and interacting with technology. The way this operates is based on motion and the physical reactions of the viewer. While nobody interacts with the artwork the mirror does not respond, it stays completely blank and silent until motion is detected. The imagery of your motion(not necessarily your reflection) appears somewhat of a ghost like reflection. Its pretty cool how his art is basically reacting with your movements.
