Gender Anarchy Project

Gender Anarchy Project is an installation which breaks the boundaries and assumptions of someone’s gender. This specific movement started in the nineties, the way this works is there is a black box with a PC computer which are hidden, somewhat of a bigger box hiding the equipment. The PC and power are connected to an VGA cable, and the power runs through to a LCD screen. Their is a sensor on top of the door that connects through a serial cable back to the main power source. This allows the person who walks by to trigger this specific screen on. Reasons behind all this is to show the audience or media, gender movement and how people are rising in a sense. To show identity and representation of gender. It’s making a pretty strong statement on things, especially on this touchy subject.
