This story happemed about a month or two ago. You may remember. My question is how does an alligator make a life in the Chicago River? Is it a sign of global warming? Did it make its way north from the south? Or maybe it is a sign of how globally connected we are. Maybe somebody wanted an alligator as a pet. They thought it was exotic and ordered it from some online store. Then the alligator grew and grew. Then it got too big and they flushed it down the toilet or released it into the wild. The alligator seemed to make itself at home there in the river. However it probably didn’t give the first person who saw it the same cozy feeling. Go back to the south. There is no room for you here. If I see you around here again I’ll make you into a suitcase. See ya later.
