This is the most fascinating hack I’ve seen in a while. I didn’t even know that there was an infrared sensor in the tip of the Wii remote. By using that, Johnny Lee has written his own program and allowed the two to work together to create an interactive whiteboard, a touchscreen, and even a 3D screen. EA games has even taken the idea and put it into use in a Wii game already.

What’s more, Johnny Lee puts the program out for free on his website to download. He genuinely wants to spread his ideas to people who can’t afford to buy the real thing. That’s truly admirable.
