Originating from the prototype game called Brainball, this two player game pushes the boundaries of competitive games to the unexpected. Instead of encouraging brain activity and involvement, the goal of this game is to see who of the two opponents can relax the most. Via a table, ball, and special headbands, this simple game is very entertaining not only to the players, but to bystanders as well. The headbands, which are lined with electrodes, connect to the table which moves the ball toward the players circle with the most amount of electrical brain activity (The goal of the game being to end up with the least amount of points). In personally witnessing this game in use at the Wired Nextfest at Millennium Park, I can attest to its uniqueness and was extremely intrigued by the simplicity of the concept and its movement from the ordinary through challenging the mind in a new way.
