box of men is a display of six ventrilloquist puppets on a large flat panel screen. the puppets talk to each other about an “unknown crime”. the conversation is not pre-recorded but run by a computer program that assigns each puppet a voice. the conversation can go on and on until the program is termenated. the pupputs assume the role of a jury or tribunal. the purpose is to show how random people can be when accusing others of a crime.
