Creative Switch Work In-Progress

The idea behind my creative switch was influenced by my habit off misplacing the different kinds of cards I have in my wallet at all times (i.e. iCard, Credit/Debit Cards, License). So I decided to creative a circuit to act as a reminder that the card is not in my possession at the time or missing. Therefore, I designed a simple circuit that uses the actual cards to open the circuit, so that if the card is in place the indicators would not be lit but when the card is not in place the circuit would be closed and the light would indicate such.

So first off, I gathered my materials.

(Soldering Iron, Solder, Batteries, Copper Tape, Wire, LEDs and a wallet )
Next, I started figuring out how much wire I needed for each part of the circuit in order to have the components in the places in which I wanted them to be.
From there, I started soldering one part of the circuit, making sure that the right pieces were going in the right places.
(Beer is optional)
I soldered the circuit in four pieces at first because it was easiest to organize what went where in the wallet and made figuring out how much wire for each piece was necessary.
I then began to solder it all together into one circuit and eventually put all the pieces into place in the wallet.
Below are the three states in which the circuit can be:
Both cards in…

 One card missing…

Both cards missing…
I plan to continue working on this project and expand on the original idea which I hope will bring me to more iterations that perform the same function in a more appealing solution.
THE END.
