In the video discussion, John Ippolito, discusses varies topics. One I was interested in was the topic of “cheating or sharing” he explained how the teacher would go about yelling at a student, “eyes on your own paper.” Even at a college level at University of Texas, John exemplified a teacher telling the students that they have to sign a paper, that they can only take notes one time and can not share to another student. I thought that this teacher is crazy. This means that a student that misses class for a reason cannot get the notes from another student. I think the cheating or sharing topic brings up a good discussion, because there are often times when students like myself, would talk to other students about an upcoming project or their ideas or suggestions. Not to talk to steal a person’s idea but for a starting point and to get a option.
To go along with sharing, the other topic i was interested in was the Pool concept. The pool is a site that allows students to put there projects and ideas on it. It allows students and other people to comment and give feedback. Students can put their input on someone’s project. The pool is also categorized by the peoples feedback, if its good or not. I would use this pool in the future, if I was working on a project and needed input on my own or view someone else’s.
