From the article I can agree that data is abstract and I would be more surprised about this if I didn’t have some familiar background about this(before I started this class). Data you would think is just information, used for our purposes of gathering intellect but it is much much more. Gathering it and making it display as they would internally and then externally to us to view in creative ways is just a whole new way of art. The one that caught my interest was the cloud of topics information or data bending made by Jevbratt seems so intricate and amazing by just a change of font, and color, and placement we can see where that topic lies in the data world. Then to see data just transform into lines, it is very abstract and is considered art. There is art that can turn into data figures where we can see it in different forms. There is Dragulescu’s form and Architecture spam forms and much more. These forms allow us to see such creative new designs of the artists and works of visualizations in data that it is very crazy in a way that our generation has been able to come up with such creations. Feels like the way we think and what we write up can just evolve into physical space, just anything we think about. This kinda reminds me of that movie “Meet the Robinson’s” where that boy creates a memory machine to go into our heads and pull out data in our memories to bring the past to life, but instead of a past this data we put into the machine can become just about anything. These creations seems to be ever evolving and becoming so intricately complicated and clever all in one go that what we see next may go on a whole another level of art and data.
