In the Art Against Information, I found it visually effective to understand the spam interaction from Alex Dragulescu’s peices structure 11 from the Spam Architecture Series and the Untitled 1 from the Spam Plant series. In the structure 11, it is represented by straight rigid edges as a base but with another structure representing a spam corrupting the system. In the other piece he represents spam in a more nature approach. This shows the the source generating and evolving into the system. As he says “either junk is structure or structure is junk.” Both these pieces bring out the sense of data as both high in structure and in a way empty.
