Heart LED

So, I want to make a heart shirt that lights up with LEDs! I’d put a photoresistor above the heart, so it would react to the light conditions around you. I also like using a photoresister because if someone were to walk closer and closer to you, the light would get brighter. If someone hugs you, it’d be glowing the brightest, and the heart would show how happy you are! I’d put the Arduino in a jacket for easy pocketing. The wires that connect to the LEDs will be wired behind the jacket, and then looped into the shirt and around. The jacket should cover all wires and such, so no one would see them.

Lovely! Will the LED's be in a heart shape? You could wear your heart on your sleeve too 😉

You might consider getting a light sensor such as this one: http://www.trossenrobotics.com/p/grove-light-sensor.aspx

Or, sparkfun has even smaller, surface mount ones!
