Creative Switch: Indoor Night Umbrella

This is how my Indoor Night Umbrella works (reference
diagram if necessary):  the negative
terminal of the battery is connected to one of the stretches, which is linked
to the rib where I have attached the negative leg of the LED.  In essence, the negative terminal of the 9v
battery, which I used to power the circuit, is charging the entire metal
structure.  Now, the positive terminal is
connected to the bottom part of the switch. The circuit is completed when the
runner is locked with the top notch once the umbrella is completely opened.
There’s wiring linked to the top part of the switch to the positive leg of the
LED.  In a way, I’ve repeated this for each of the umbrella’s 7 arms.  And that’s how my creative switch works.
