Art Against Information

After reading this article, I was impressed by how people presented there can make art out of anything they stumble upon. For example, The Dumpster is a visualization of blog posts. It has over 2000 blog posts of teenage splits. I thought it was absolutely genius to take something so useless(even though it’s a great way to deal with a break up for teens, it still has no purpose in society) and morph it into an art piece.
Moreover, I was even more surprised to see Spam
Architecture series
creation. I thought it was a beautiful way to deal with people’s junk folders. This work made me realize that there are millions of things around us, the things we find pointless, and we can turn them into something useful.

This article  inspired me to also raise awareness with my own artwork. Pieces such as State of the Union, Infome Imager Lite, and Everything All at Once are stimulating to me because I begin to see other factors in the art field that I haven’t considered before.
