For my final project I am looking to explore the ideas in my interactive piece a bit more. With the helpful feedback of everyone in the critique I have made some changes to my original idea. I will make a grid of lights on a piece of wood so that all that is visible is this square of lights and no form or shape is visible. The piece will be hanging in a public art space and will be recording the sound levels coming in. When sound levels begin to raise above ambient sound, lights will begin to light up and begin to form a face. The sound around the piece will be encouraged by conversation starters placed by the piece.
