To continue with the Interactive Project..

In the interactive project, there are several things I could improve on especially the materials used on the leaves for “plant”. The wax paper used for the previous project were loose that comes out from place since it was slide under the iris “leaves”. The lollipop sticks and paperclips did not have the iris maintain stable onto the surface. The surface for the servo motor literally has it overheat as it turn to move the iris at that momentum.

In the final project, I switch the wax paper with the transparent plastic as the leaves of the plant but also to attach thin wire (copper) to the plastic. I’m going to hot glue or tape down the plastic to the leaves of the iris wheel. I’ll be hot gluing the flaps of plastic to two ends of the leaves. Instead of just having the iris just turning 180 degrees again and again, I’ll also include some kind of sensor to the device.
