For my final project I would like to continue with my dress that lights up with your heartbeat. I want to add one last component that changes the color of the lights.

Idea 1:

The most Ideal, and my favorite component could be adding another input for temperature. The higher the temperature, the more red the color of the neopixels. The neopixels at default would be white. Temperature is a slower constant that can produce slower and more realistic color changes and gradients to the light sequences.

Idea 2: I could incorporate sound to have a quicker color changing sequence, but I feel as though the dress will be more of a rave dress, instead of an everyday or evening dress. It might not make a difference dependent upon the the quality of the microphone, or I could filter what sounds I want the microphone to pick up.

Idea 3: Lastly I could work with the dyes that change color dependent upon the wind. This is a bit of a stretch because it is hard to get the dye, especially in small quantities, but ideally it would be a beautiful addition to the piece.

Questions:

How many analog inputs can I have on a trinket?

How many neopixels would i be able to drive on a  trinket?

What material should i consider for the housing of my project if I am making the lights detachable from the garment?
