These are instruction on how to make
light-up flowers. This makes a great design piece for your home.
Things you need:
2 2.6v LED lights
Battery pack for 2 AA
batteries with attached +/- wires
2 AA batteries
2 Artificial
flowers
Wire
Electric Tape
One metal earring with
metal backing
Vase
Step One:
Connect
the two LED lights to the battery pack wires. LED lights have positive and
negative conductivity, the longer end is positive and the shorter end is
negative. The positive side of one bulb should touch the positive side of the
battery while the negative side of the other bulb touches the negative side.
Electric polarity must go in this order or the bulbs will not light up. Fasten
all attachments with small pieces of electric tape. Remember to be work
patiently ad gently since the bulbs are delicate.
Step
Two:
Attach
one wire to the opposite side of the bulb. Do the same on the other bulb. These
wires will connect to the switch. Again, use electric tape to attach the wires.
At this point you can put the AA batteries inside of the battery pack.

Step Three:
The
switch is made up of a metal earring and metal backing. Wrap the exposed part
of the wire around the metal backing. Wrap the other wire on the pin of the
earring. When these two touch, the lights should light up. To turn the lights
off, simply detach the backing and earring.

Step Four:
Once
that is done place it in a vase, but do not keep the switch on. Cut holes on
the bottom of the artificial flowers to the size of the LED lights. Put the
artificial flowers over the LED so the lights are in the center of each flower.

Step Five:
Finally,
turn the switch on and enjoy your light-up flowers.
