Golan Levin is an artist that creates pieces using media along with incorporating participation from the audience. This piece, “Eyeshine,” captures and records the reflections of eyes from viewers and displays an image as seen in the picture above. What I like about this piece is how Levin uses the audience in a kind of collaboration. I think it makes the piece more meaningful because the audience is doing a bit more than looking at a piece of artwork.

“Testament” is an art piece done by Natalie Bookchin. It is a montage of video logs found online, which are all played at the same time. Each video recollects a personal experience or opinion. I like this piece because it feels like the artist is trying to connect to her audience through the videos she used in the montage.
