This article talks about the evolution of Interactive Art and its history. Firstly, a comparison was made between how interactive art has changed and evolved especially from it’s origination in the 60’s and the end product of being changed through time and technology, to then shift into what it became in the 90’s. Although many aspects of interactive art changed through the course of those thirty years, one thing that stayed the same is its use of computer technology and user activation. What I find most interesting is the bridged gap between the artist and the ones interacting with the art. Lastly, even though the term interactive art is pretty broad and explanatory, its interpretation is up for individual analysis.
