For my interactive project I made, what I am calling, a literal “Death Toll.” By averaging the amount of pollution a car creates per mile, I am able to link that to the amount of premature death linked to pollution. My model wouldn’t be fully functional to track car’s mileages, but my idea would eventually, in theory, be applied to tollway statistics.
1. I did research to find the averages and stats I needed for my project.
2. I figured out how to code the Arduino to track the number of presses a pressure sensor recessives.
3.I figured out how to control the display I was using.
4. After combining those codes, I drew up an idea of how I would present this info.
5. I decided to go with the toll booth idea and cut it out of chip board.
6. I hot glued all of the components into my model both.
7. I colored in the booth attendant.
