Deep Thought: Final Project

Time is finite. You
can use it, waste it, or lose it.
What originally took (3.942 * 10^12
minutes) will only take you 4, is it worth is?

The answer is
simple, but the question is hard. What is…
Materials:
  1. Large piece of wood
  2. A clock
  3. arduino step motor
  4. arduino bread board
  5. several female-male and male-male connection wires
  6. 1 led light
  7. 1 arduino small round pressure sensor
  8. time
  9. tools, not a tool…he’s busy, tools like a screw driver, a saw, a drill bit.
  10. Super glue, because its a must for any project.
  11. arduino uno
  12. a shoe box
  13. a hinge
  14. and other stuff

I wrote a code that measures the amount of time the pressure sensor is held down. After a minute has passed, the stepper motor rotates to a specific number on the clock, using the minute hand, This number is a clue to the riddle. This particular riddle has 4 clues and will take 4 minutes to get. If you let up on the pressure tab at any point before the movement begins, the light will turn off (oh yeah, when you press down on the sensor a led light with turn on to show you it is working) and you will have to start over.

I followed all the standard wire configurations, except, the stepper motor is connected to the 5v pin and the sensor and led are connected to the 3.3v pin.

Good luck with the riddle.
