For the final project, I decided to use twitter to control my Arduino. I went back to my idea of placing an installation on top of a tall tower in a city (My example is the Sears Tower) and having the citizens able to control it using twitter. Since the Sears Tower already has RGB lights on top for its antennas, my concept is using twitter to control those lights certain days out of the year.
1. First I coded the processing to take information from twitter and use it to control the Arduino.
2. Then I coded it to remember how many times it is tweeted at either red, blue or green, and use that data to average out a RGB value.
3. Then I made a model of the Sears Tower antennas.
4. I installed red, blue, and green lights to light up the antennas.
5. Finished model looked like this, idk why I didn’t get a photo of it lit up.
