First of all, I thought this video was going to be more like a Ted talk. I thought it wouldn’t be very interesting. And based on the title of the video, I didn’t think it would be the most pleasant sight to see.

But alas, I was wrong. Surprisingly enough, I found it to be interesting. Jesse Schell’s vision for how the future will look is nerve-wracking. Although, it is plausible. The idea of any part of our daily lives becoming [part of] a game can make sense. I mean, people are addicted to playing games on game consoles and their phones and electronics; it’s one step closer to games completely taking over our lives, gaining points and leveling up.

However, I don’t totally agree with the idea of receiving thousands of points when repeatedly having junk food, but only receiving hundreds of points for exercise. I know he was just ‘thinking out loud’, but I would reverse the points rewarded.
