I have a negative
view of mainstream “gamers”, based on previous experiences in my
life, and this face creates a bias when reading articles like these.
How silly and frivolous it is to have an argument about what is or is
not a game. In essence, existence is a game, we play our moves and
what as life unfolds. I find the concept of text only games
intriguing. Why? It allows for the creator to explore the complexity
that is life and choices while telling a story. It hits, for me, the
concept of spherical time and existence. That all of our minute
choices guide our life into unique paths, much like the choices of
the reader/ player.
