Twine Article Response

The article, “Twine, the Video-Game Technology for All,” was quite interesting as it went through her life and talked about the difficult moments she experienced and what came out of those moments as a result. To be brutally honest, I hated the games. It seems all of the games are just lack of creativity and knowledge to make something better. I went through the game in a minute a piece and the stories were completely uninteresting. As it said in the article somebody ridiculed her and said it is about as fun as clicking through Wikipedia links. I disagree, I think clicking through Wikipedia links is a lot more fun and entertaining that her games. I’m honestly impressed that she even made money on those games, I’ll give her that. Games, in my opinion, are suppose to be joy and relief of real life. Her games take you back to depressing moments and make you feel like crap. I can’t understand why anyone in the right mind would want to play something that makes you depressed or reminds you of a horrible past experience. I have never played any games of this sort, so it was definitely different, but I don’t think I’ll ever be entertaining myself through those games again.
