Next you are going to use the 2 machine screws
and two washers and screw them in the piece of wood with a screwdriver. One screw
should go all the way through and the other should barely be sticking out.

The other screw you are going to attach a
mending brace to the screw that is sticking out the wood more. You will need to
add a nut and washer to the bottom of the screw.

Then you will take the mending brace and attach
a 3V battery using electrical tape to the it. Make sure the battery line up
with the second screw that’s barely sticking out.

After you will be placing the side of the
mending brace that doesn’t have the the battery attached to it. Place it on the
top on the washer.

6)   
Then you are going to use a lock washer and a
spacer to tighten the mending brace in place.

7)   
Last you will attach a blue LED and a multicolor
LED on top of the wood.

Do this by loosing the screws a little bit and
placing the LED’s on opposite side then tighten down with a screwdriver
