Interactive art is a relatively new phenomenon that has come
about with the prevalence of advanced technologies. Many artists have begun to
use this technology to create innovative and interactive pieces. Erkki Huhtamo
article NeMe discusses the ways in which these interactive works are created
and displayed. He also discusses the issues with defining interactive art and
how those labels are growing more and more every year, becoming more inclusive
to the new technologies. Today in class we came up with our own categories. One
of ours was Fashion/ Thermal technologies. For example a coat that can sense
the weather getting colder, and reacting by warming up.
