In the article “NeMe: Trouble at the Interface 2.0” by Erkki Huhtamo, the concept of “interactive art” is the main focus. Interactive is art that depends on the user interacting with the piece in question. I found it the idea of interactive art to be interesting but as Erkki said at the end of the article “Perhaps it made more sense in the era of the pioneers, for whom ‘user interaction’ itself was uncharted territory. Today interactive media is everywhere; its forms
have become commonplace.”(6-7). Interactive media has been very well explored and the best example I can think of is video games. Video games are a very interactive medium that have expanded and evolved over the years. With the development of VR headsets as now it is possible to make the user a more active participant of the game.
