Ewelina Rusek – Interactive Project

Arduino Powered Stoplight

My Interactive Project was a continuation of my creative switch
project. My creative switch project was a toy car with LED headlights (see picture below).
For my Interactive Project, I created a miniature environment for this toy car. The miniature environment for this toy car consists of an intersection with a key interactive element: the Arduino powered stoplight (pictures below).

1. Materials used to construct the stoplight – styrofoam.

2. Use sandpaper to shape the foam into the desired form.

3. Glue the together and then paint/decorate the stoplight.
4. Time to incorporate the Arduino components –
– Arduino UNO
– 3 Leds

– 3 resistors 330oms
– Ultrasonic distance sensor
– Jumpers

4. Create the code.
Let’s take a look at the finished product!
