Materials needed:

Two pieces of same sized paper

Copper wire or fabric

Tape

3 volt battery

LEDs

You begin the design with sketching out where the balloons will be placed.

Have two pieces of paper- one to place the copper wire and another to place on top and complete design.

Then measure how long the copper wire (or fabric) should be in regards to how far the balloon is from the battery. Tape down a piece of copper fabric for the negative side of the battery and another piece of copper fabric for the positive side. With the paper for the top, poke two holes for the LED legs and place the LED in the center of the balloon and tape the anode and cathode side of the LED respectively on the copper fabric (on the bottom piece of paper.) Cut a small piece horizontally in each piece of copper fabric connected to the LED (only on the negative piece of copper fabric near the bottom of design.) Then place a single piece of copper fabric over the cut section; this will allow a slide switch for the LEDs to turn on respectively.

Repeat with desired amount of balloons

To finish, place another piece of paper on top of the design so that the copper fabric and LED legs are hidden underneath and finish drawing design. Place battery on lower right hand corner of paper and place negative and positive side of copper fabric respectively. Design complete.
