I plan on building upon the diatonic scale builder by adding MIDI functionality and possibly a touchscreen interface.

By adding a MIDI jack I will be able to control an external hardware/software synthesizer and control the sound timbre by modulating the touchscreen parameters.

The only part that I have yet to gather is a female MIDI jack at $.66. I was unable to get one locally: OctotouchY
