Sock Puppet Switch:
Materials:
- 1 sock
- 3 LEDs
- 6 skinny wires
- Conductive material
- Two 3 volt batteries
- Soldering iron
- Tape
- Markers
Start by folding the sock inside out and putting the LEDs in the desired places. Next, solder one mini wire to each cathode leg of each LED.
Tape the battery pack with the two batteries in it on to the inside of the sock.
Solder the wires on the cathodes of the LEDs to the ground wire connected to the battery pack. Next, connect 3 new wires to the anodes of the LEDs.
Solder the wires connected to the anodes together.
Solder the anode wires to the red wire of the battery pack. Cut the red wire about halfway and tape the remaining red wire to the sock. The clump of wires connected to the now cut off wire should be free in the air. Also, you can add a conductive material, like aluminum foil.
When your hand is in the sock, pull the clump of wires towards the conductive material to light up the LEDs.
Decorate the sock however you want.
