Student Name: Joanna Kim | Title (tentative): Edelweiss | |
Project or Assignment Summary:
There will be a painting with six Edelweiss flowers. I was envisioning the flowers to light up according to the pitch of the note being played in “Edelweiss”. In the song “Edelweiss” there are seven notes (E, G, D, C, F, A, B). I would like to assign each pitch to a flower, so one flower lights up when E is played, another when D is played, etc. Since C is the last note of the song, ideally all of the flowers should light up when note C is played. I will use an otamatone to play the song, and this instrument will be the part of the project that the audience interacts with. |
