BUMS (Bathroom Utilities Management System) is a project which is designed to detect when anyone enters the room. It would then turn on the lights and then the pressure sensors on the door contacts will indicate if someone is still in the room. A PIR sensor is also used to do detect if anyone is still in the room. A proximity sensor is used to control the faucet, a humidity sensor to control the fan, and each person has a specific amount of time for their shower. The shower will alert the user when their time is almost up.
