Living in Chicago, Im sure we all notice that you cant see any stars at night. This is because of light pollution. Light pollution is caused by many lights in a small radius. There is a new light that instead of shooting out rays in all directions, shoots them at an angle. This would cut down light pollution substancially if all the street lamps were like this. Also, these lights are solar powered, so it would cut down the amount of electricity used. I think these lights will be in every major city in a few years.
